NorthWest CDC Gold Partner Award On 28 April 2020
Through our participation and partnership with NorthWest CDC in 2019, we have achieved the Gold Partner Award! Special thanks to the following programmes that were part of the NWCDC activities in 2019: 1. Recyclatron + Reduce@NW 2. NWCDC Block Parties 3. Bukit Panjang Eco CC LJ 4. Sky Greens LJ 5. NORTHBROOKS SCHOOL ACHIEVEMENTS 2018 Congratulations to the school!
National Orienteering Race (Schools) On 14 July 2018 During the recently concluded National Orienteering Race (Schools) (14 Jul 2018) at Singapore Polytechnic, our students have emerged as CHAMPIONS in BOTH the pair (B Div Boys) and relay category (Sec Sch Girls). The students displayed Grit and Resilience throughout this competition.
Malaysia Orienteering Asia Cup (Perak, Malaysia) On 16 May 2018 12 Brooksians have been selected to represent our school at the Malaysia Orienteering Asia Cup @ Perak, Malaysia between 11 to 14 May 2018. These students were selected based on their orienteering and athletic ability. The event is an international World Ranking Event (WRE) in which orienteering athletes from around the world were present. Our Brooksians displayed great grit and resilience by enduring and overcoming challenging terrain and tricky checkpoints. Our Orienteering team has achieved great success at the event. Women's Under 18 (4.6km): From Taiwan From Indonesia From Malaysia Justine (3G) Rachael (2E) Men's Under 18 (5.4km): Edwin Huang (3E) From Malaysia From Taiwan Azhad (3I) Jun Xiang (3T) We also had Mdm Au who emerged 4th in her the Women's 45-55 years old Category!
North West Outstanding School Partner Award (Bronze) On 14 May 2018 Northbrooks has been awarded the North West Outstanding School Partner Award (Bronze) for 2018. This is an award given by the North West Community Development Council that recognises the school contributions to the North West community.
National School Games Shooting Championship On 20 April 2018 Gai Tianrui (3E) took part in the National School Games Shooting Championship finals on 20 April 2018. He displayed grit and determination throughout the gruelling shoot-off under intense pressure. He finished 4th overall out of 24.
Annual Greendale Adventure Race On 14 Apr 2018 The school Orienteering Team competed in the Annual Greendale Adventure Race. The students ran, cycled and navigated around Punggol for three hours with surprise checkpoints testing them in tent pitching, fire making and First Aid. Two teams have emerged as CHAMPIONS in the boys' category and mixed category. The students displayed great resilience and grit to complete this race.
